How does the AI panel work?
Once both parties have submitted their sides, three independent AI perspectives analyze the dispute simultaneously. The Logician evaluates the internal consistency and factual credibility of each account — looking for logical gaps, contradictions, or unsupported claims. The Therapist examines the emotional dimension — identifying unmet needs, communication patterns, and where each person may feel unheard. The Arbitrator synthesizes both perspectives into a final ruling, assigning a responsibility split, naming the primary faults on each side, and providing concrete steps toward resolution.
What does "blind submission" mean?
Each party writes their account without seeing the other's. The Challenger submits first and receives a private invite link to share with the Responder. The Responder then submits their own account independently. Neither party can read the other's submission until after the AI panel has reviewed both sides and delivered its verdict. This ensures the panel gets unfiltered, uninfluenced perspectives — which leads to a more honest and accurate analysis.
Are the results binding?
No. SettleThis is an entertainment and reflection tool — not a legal service, professional mediation service, or arbitration platform. The verdict carries no legal weight and is not enforceable. How long does the invite link stay active?
The invite link sent to the Responder is valid for 48 hours from the time the Challenger submits. If the Responder hasn't submitted within that window, the link expires and the session closes. If this happens, the Challenger will need to start a new dispute. Once both parties have submitted and the verdict has been viewed by both sides, the session data is scheduled for deletion within 60 minutes.
Is my submission private?
Yes — until the verdict is delivered. Your submission is stored only long enough to generate the AI verdict and allow both parties to view the result. It is not visible to the other party until after the verdict is rendered. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or train AI models on it.
